Expensive Soccer BallsExpensive Soccer Balls
I was browsing some soccer websites and found they were selling balls that were priced over $120. What in the world is the difference between a $120 soccer ball and a $10 soccer ball? Can someone please clear this up for me?

A lot actually, i've found with most things in life the more you pay the more you really get. I mean have you ever thrown a crappy football, its feel completely different from something the nfl would use. I guess in the end it all depends on what you are doing with it. If you are just looking for something to kick around with friends quality might not matter to you. If you are in some sort of competitive environment you might want to use the best. So your looking at the quality of material, crappy balls come apart. The feel to pass and recieve passes it has a softer touch which also gives you more control.

As Doug said, it's really about the level of play. I do not believe you will need the highest end ball for competitive play though, a good mid-range ball should do the trick.
